AMD Athlon X4 840, CM Hyper 103 cooling, 120 mm inlet and 80 mm outlet fans, ASRock FM2A88M UEFI 2.60 motherboard, Kingston HyperX 1600 MHz RAM, ZALMAN MINI TOWER ZM-T4 case. Using ASRock A-Tuning, I set the bus frequency to 111, the x38 multiplier (if you cannot reset the UEFI settings and do not touch the overclocking in them) and the voltage 1.3375v and got the processor frequency 4.2 GHz. Today, 08/12/15, I passed the AIDA64 test (CPU, FPU, Cache, RAM) for 1 hour 15 minutes and the processor warmed up to 56 degrees, in room 28, the frequency did not drop. The motherboard is not stable. When overclocked, USB 3.0 temporarily flies, and there are also crackles of sound when you open YouTube to full screen. There are days when the computer just picks up and freezes for no reason, overclocking and load. Perhaps this is due to the network card, which needs to be disabled Task Offload and Flow Control in the properties of the network card, translation of Flow Control and Energy Saving Internet.

Installed in this configuration, Asus A88X-PRO, Corsair H80 / Corsair RM650 / Corsair Vengeance 1866MHz 2x4GB / Gigabyte GTX 660 3Gb / Silverstone Raven 5 RV05, runs stably at 4.89GHz - 1.50v, ran the linkpack for a couple of hours like normal, in idle 27 ~ 29, under load 100% 53 degrees.

Regular win7 (score - 7.4) is faster than my working i7 3770 by feeling. Overclocking is hanging at 4.5 GHz, at 4.4 GHz is unstable. 4.3 hangs occasionally. The most important thing is 4.2 GHz. In tanks, the i5-i7 is worse, but everything else (including the price hehe) is better.

I hope that a new processor with the letter K will be created for this socket. Something is more powerful, otherwise it will be a problem, since it is a pity to change the mother, I wanted to take it for a better one. Hardware estimates in Windows8 (Windows7) - processor 7.5 (7.5) memory 7.5 (7.6) graphics - 8.9 (7.9) hard drive 8.1 (7.9) The processor is cold - at first I used the simplest cheap cooler Cooler Master DK9-9ID2A-0L-GP, designed for 65 watts was enough. The maximum on such a cooler is 72 in the Aida stress test, at 1390 rpm.In terms of power consumption in idle - 45 watts, i3 -44 watts.
