Advantages:
Great processor. That games, coupled with 1060 and 16 gigs of memory, that the rendering pulls perfectly. The best price / performance ratio today. Overclocking capability.
Disadvantages:
Weak cooler in a box. I bought a 150-watt cooler separately, and now the processor does not heat up above 50 degrees, which is generally a fairy tale for an overclocker.

Everything is very cool, only there may be problems with the selection of a motherboard. Keep in mind that motherboards with the B350 and X370 chipset go to the first generation of risen, i.e. 1xxx. They support the second generation, but if they were made before the age of 18, then they do not have an updated BIOS, which the processor will not see and the mother will have to carry it to the service for flashing. So it's better to buy right away with a normal socket for the second generation of risen - i.e. B450 and X470 with them will start out of the box 100%

Advantages:
Prices (meaning OEM) AMD has an excellent performance / heat dissipation ratio. Large overclocking potential (and overclocking really adds performance, and not for the plate like in FX) Memory overclocking gives a tangible increase (Infinity Fabric rules, at 3666MHz (3000MHz drain) + 15-20%)
Disadvantages:
Very demanding on RAM (all because of the same Infinity Fabric) In Russia, prices are somewhat overpriced

Feedback for 2600x OEM A lot has been said and written about these processors, but I will add my own word. 1) I absolutely don't see any point in buying the BOX version, the price difference reaches 5k, for this money you can take a real refrigerator for this processor. 2) the selection of memory should be taken very scrupulously, do not be too lazy to read the forums. Trust me, it's worth it. 3) it is not necessary to take memory for 16 + k, it is better to take a better motherboard, it will be more useful. (In the last assembly I used the memory of the patriot PVR416G320C6K (12k), and did not notice much difference with G.SKILL (17k). But there is no difference only on good motherboards. 4) for those who like to play with memory overclocking, or just want to get maximum output of the processor-RAM bundle, I recommend using not standard overclocking profiles, but digging into the primary and secondary timings. The result is worth the time spent, especially since there is a timing calculator. 5) almost no one talks about a possible conflict with the HEPT function. In some cases, disabling HEPT gives a small performance gain and a decrease in the number of long frames (freezes). I do not understand those people who compare this processor with the latest I7, which cost three times more. In its price segment (11-15k) it has no price / performance competitors. Video gorebloggers, which show the difference in performance in games, are also very amusing, but almost none of them show what happens with a parallel load per percent, when its main feature - multithreading is just involved.

This is not a processor, but a rocket. Faster than the i7 7700k, but cheaper. Faster than i5 9400f, but cheaper. Rendering is now like a fairy tale. I had to change Intel to AMD. AMD, are you out of your mind? What's so cool?

After I was presented with a GTX 1080, I began to realize that my old 8320 could no longer fully reveal the "danced" of this video card .. It's time to upgrade. The choice fell on new prots from AMD (Intel did not even consider it, since it had never dealt with them and was simply expensive). 2600x by tests is just a PUSHKA and for adequate money (April 2019 - 12k). I took it together with GIGABYTE X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING (rev. 1.0) and Corsair RAM at 3200. Everything started up in the XMP profile at the declared frequencies. My good old Thermaltech cooler, which once worked in tandem with my old 8320 percent, came up quietly, which I really think is a huge plus.

I replaced my old FX and the entire platform with a new one, I chose Ryzen 2600 for the new one - multithreading was important for me, but here there are really 6 cores and 12 threads, which means there is a margin of ~ 5 years. The second feature is low power consumption and low heating, which for me personally has always been important in the CPU. I love highly efficient systems that can work quickly and save energy. Personally, it seems to me that it will be a people's processor, it is not very expensive, but it has excellent potential.

I never took OEM processors. I was very surprised when in the store they handed me a plastic bag with a protsic without any packaging (not counting the plastic stand, into which the legs are sunk). There is no point in taking the cooler version IMHO, as well as the percent with the "x" index.

Took to replace hot phenomchik 965. Everything flies, score in win10 9.3 out of 9.9! Stable, bet on b450m. I wound up with a bang without dancing with a tambourine. Put win10 right away. Quietly chasing through the ryzen master to 4.1, although there is more than enough drain. Quietly pulls all new products on the ultras paired with gtx1070. Excellent budget option. For 10 sput, roughly speaking, pre-top percent! 3770 people dump for this price. After weighing the pros and cons, of course, I decided to take a new amd! New Intels of this performance (i5-8400) are 1.5 times more expensive !!! + Sockets do not change on AMD like gloves (unlike Intel), it will be possible not to buy a new motherboard for new devices, but only to update the BIOS, an obvious plus! !!

Justified and even exceeded my expectations. I have third-party "average" assemblies without tops, and this percentage is just average. So with my assembly (Ryzen 5 2600 + GTX1050Ti + 2x4Gb RAM), I'm more than happy with the results in games. Moreover, this assembly can be easily upgraded: the processor is clearly enough for a more powerful video, the memory will need to be changed to 2 x 8GB, I think more procs will come out on this connector. In total, we have an assembly life of 5+ years (with a periodic and not very expensive upgrade, 1 item every 2 years).

Advantages:
The first thing that really pleased me was a very good single-thread, a full-fledged core + HT in the amount of 6 pieces also give an excellent multi-thread. Low TDF and solder under the lid will please you with a low temperature. Finally, AMD moved away from bridging and started using hubs with one multi-socket.
Disadvantages:
Many say that it is bad chasing, but why ?? The percentage is really good.
Comment:
Of course, I had to score on compatibility with the old AM3 and AM3 + sockets, but it was worth it, since the 2009 chipset and backward compatibility would have dragged everything to the bottom. I will gradually supplement the review.
